Judaism and Islam
Religion is arguably the single, most important impediment
to achieving peace in the Middle East. The conflict between Islam and Judaism
is often viewed as an irreconcilable clash of religious doctrines. Is this
really the case?
For this essay, you are required to compare and contrast
these two religions and, based upon your research, offer your opinion as to the
similarities and differences that exist between them. Are they inherently
conflictory, or is there a commonality between the two that is frequently overlooked? Can these religions coexist, or
are they destined for perpetual conflict?
In your essay, you will need to address a minimum of three
similarities and three differences between these two religions. You then will need to draw and support your
conclusion as to the nature of the relationship between them.
The paper must be at least three pages in length (excluding
the title and reference pages) and formatted according to APA style. You must
use at least one scholarly source, which can be found in the Ashford Online
Library, and the textbook to support your points. Cite your sources within the text of your paper and on the reference
page. For information regarding APA, including samples and tutorials, visit the
Ashford Writing Center within the Learning Resources tab on the left navigation
toolbar.
